Just the facts:

  • I spent the first 18 years of my life growing up in a great little town called Duanesburg.  It is located about 20 miles west of Albany along route 20. Dad worked at GE in Schenectady, Mom was the school nurse teacher at our high school.  For the last 4-5 years of time at home I had a darkroom in my parent's basement.
  • Spent two years attending SUNY Farmingdale in Long Island, graduated with an AAS degree in Photographic Technology.
  • Worked for GE in Schenectady for two years in their art/photographic department.  Made many thousands of custom B&W prints in those two years.
  • Moved to Rochester NY in April of 1982 to join Eastman Kodak as a QA technician testing photo finishing equipment, thanks Augie!
  • Got married in 1984, got divorced in 1989.
  • Gained a BS degree in Computer Science in 1990 from SUNY Brockport.
  • My dad passed away in 1992.
  • Met a nice lady, Irene, at Church and at work and asked her out in June of 1994.
  • Achieved an MS in Computer Integrated Manufacturing from RIT in 1998.
  • Left Kodak for PTC in 1999.
  • Got married to Irene July 2nd, 2002.
  • Irene’s children started giving birth to the next generation on December 6th 2005; there are now six of them!  They bring much joy to our lives.
  • My favorite places to travel to are Zion National Park and Bishop CA.
  • In October 2014 PTC decided that life could be lived without me.  Now time for consulting and photography gigs--
